The “Blue Retinol” is an extract of the endemic blue algae (Cyanophycea). It is rich in vitamins, minerals, oligoelements, lipids, carbohydrates and special pigments. Research shows a powerful “retinoid” effect of this algae, which possesses unique retinoic qualities without any side effects. It imitates the beneficial effect of retinoic acid on the stratum corneum and the dermis in local use, regulating the certain genes from the inside and outside. Those genes boost the production of keratinocytes, inhibition of corneocytes differentiation, and increase in the formation of collagenase inhibitor factor in the skin layers. The blue algae has powerful cosmetology properties due to its unique amino-acid content and rare elements composition:
