Phytic acid which acts as the base ingredient for the peels, works primarily via blocking melanin production. It exerts an antioxidant activity by binding heavy metals in the skin. It reduces the inflammatory process. Phytic acid acts as a moisturiser, a whitening agent, and a keratolytic. Compared to other keratolytic agents, phytic acid does not cause irritation, allergies, and does not penetrate the skin.
Along with its deep and soft cleansing and peeling effect, phytic acid is capable of providing tyrosinase ferment inactivation, thereby preventing hyperpigmentation. Phytic acid also has a powerful rejuvenation and lifting effect. The peel could be used all year round, does not require special training or a follow-up post-peel rehabilitation.
